As a Premier League club competing in the top flight of international football, it was only right that the supporters of Wales' leading sports club had access to a digital platform fitting of their status.
After being approached by Swansea City to design and architect a solution for a mobile app, in time for the 2017-18 season, we crafted an intuitive interface that was bespoke to each platform and provided the best possible user experience for each and every user dependant on their affiliation with the club. Feature rich, the app boasts a low latency match centre, squad info, news and video, plus the UK's first in app ticketing solution.
As design lead on the project I was able to drive the visual look and feel of the product, collaborating with senior brand decision makers, meshing visual cues from across the brand and enhancing the existing brand guidelines with application specific recommendations that covered bespoke iconography and loading indicators, tactile interactions and collapsable headers.
